Delivery is made to places in Hong Kong city areas ("CITY"). We will reach out to you and charge additionally before approving the order if the destination is considered remote areas ("REMOTE"), such as Discovery Bay, Tung Chung, Ma Wan, Stanley, Lantau Island etc. Delivery does not cover outlying islands, restricted districts and overseas.
Below are regular charges, final prices may subject to changes depending on the details of each order:
1. CITY delivery fee is HK$50 per order.
2. REMOTE delivery fee is HK$100 per order.
3. For any single order with a purchase value (net value) higher than HK$500, customers will enjoy free CITY delivery service.
4. For any single order with a purchase value (net value) higher than HK$1,000, customers will enjoy free REMOTE delivery service.
5. Upon purchasing designated product(s) stated with free delivery service, customers will enjoy free CITY delivery service on that particular product(s) (Does not apply to REMOTE areas).
6. When Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 or above is hoisted, delivery service will be temporarily suspended. Due to typhoons and inclement weather, a large number of orders need to be rescheduled. We are working very hard to arrange the latest delivery date for the affected orders. The exact time slot will be notified within 1-2 days after the Tropical Cyclone Warning Signal No. 8 is lowered. Please wait patiently.
To help ensure that your product is delivered successfully please check the following information and advice:
1. Please fill out the comment box while checking out to advise us in advance of anything that may delay the delivery schedule. If you would like to go for SF store pick-up. Please specify the code of the SF shop (https://htm.sf-express.com/hk/tc/dynamic_function/S.F.Network/SF_store_address/). Otherwise, we will by default send your order to 852YMCM - Yue Man Centre, Ngau Tau Kok.
2. Please provide us with the phone number where you will be contactable on the delivery day. A mobile phone number plus an alternative number is the best.
3. Please reach out to us should there be any issues. Our representatives will keep you updated throughout the delivery process.
4. It is the customer’s responsibility to check and make sure the delivery can be successfully delivered, or if there are any damages incurred during delivery. We encourage customers to inspect the package for signs of tampering or physical damage before accepting delivery.
5. By choosing to use the service provided by SF Express (SF shop pickup), you stated you understood the terms and conditions on SF Express' website and you understand shipping charges will be paid to SF Express to pick up your order. Ascent does not collect shipping fee other than explicitly stated on our website. Additional shipping charges are decided by SF Express on the spot and Ascent shall not be held responsible for any dispute arises due to decisions made by SF Express.
6. If you have accidentally clicked "Staff and B2B pick up" for delivery options, please reach out to us at orders@hkascent.com to make such change. Otherwise, we will hold on to your orders and await for further instructions.
7. In the case of any disputes, Ascent reserves the right of final decision on all matters regarding shipping issues.
Shipping Companies
We currently ship with the following shipping companies; SF express, Hong Kong Postage, and Ascent's designated logistic partners. The availability of these shipping companies is dependent on the location, products, and transaction amount.
Delivery Time
The average delivery time for most orders is approximately 3-5 business days. This delivery time may differ depending on the selected courier company and the location where the package is being shipped to.
Store Pick-Up
Store pick up is not available at the moment.
We may arrange MTR pick ups upon special request. Please choose a delivery method should MTR pick ups cannot be arranged. You may let us know through the comment section during checkout by including your preferred stations. Ascent has the undisputed right to decide whether we can accommodate MTR pick ups. Otherwise, Ascent will deliver the product according to your selected choice.
May I Combine Two Separate Orders To Save On Shipping Costs?
We can make the arrangement, however customers must contact us immediately. Please understand that we cannot cancel an order once it has been scanned and processed by our warehouse.
If certain items in my order are out of stock, can Ascent ship me the items in stock first and the other item at a later time when it becomes available?
Ascent is only responsible for providing one delivery per order. In case a product is out of stock, Ascent will notify you as soon as possible before confirming the order by contacting you through your provided email and/or phone number. If customers do not reply within 2 business days, Ascent will process the order and ship the entire order when all the items in the order are available.
What happens if the delivery is returned to Ascent?
In case where customers are not able to receive the delivery for the first time, shipping courier companies will make a second delivery attempt on the following day. If the second attempt is also unsuccessful, customers will be responsible for picking up the order from the courier's local depot. Most couriers will only keep the package for a certain amount of days, we strongly suggest customers use the provided tracking number as soon as it's available to avoid any issues. If the packages are not picked up, they will be returned to Ascent until further notice. Customers will be required to pay a separate delivery fee if they would like Ascent to attempt deliveries again. Please note that shipping fees are considered consumable goods and are non-refundable.
Does Ascent Pay the Return Shipping Cost?
For products that are approved for returns, Customers will be given a set of directions by our representatives and Ascent will pay for the shipping cost through coupons for you to use next time when you shop.
