Share
Probiotics have gained significant attention for their potential health benefits, ranging from constipation to sleep disturbances. However, with so many options available, choosing the right probiotic can be overwhelming. Do you know how to choose the right probiotics for you?
Probiotics are live microorganisms that provide health benefits when consumed in adequate amounts. Depending on your needs, there are specific strain of probiotics that can provide help to the problem you encounter. Different individuals may react differently and takes time to work, unless you encounter side effects such as stomach unwell or allergy, you should try to use the same probiotics for at least 3 months before switching. Choose products with safety and efficacy reports to ensure it is of the highest quality
CFUs (Colony forming Units) should be specifically mentioned in your product as it indicates the number of live bacteria in a probiotic. A higher CFU count does not mean better results and usually a probiotic with 1-10 billion CFU will be sufficient. You should always go for strain specific if you wish to target a specific problem.
