The gut-brain axis is a fascinating two-way communication system between your gastrointestinal tract (GI tract) and your central nervous system (CNS). It is a biochemical signaling pathway like a bridge to provide a better connection. The two systems communicate to provide a better “plan” for your general health.

These information are sent through the gut brain axis to relay the message and to allow the brain to react to what we have and what we need. Therefore, some experts also refer the gut as the “second brain” as it contains neural networks similar to those in your central nervous system.

Probiotics are beneficial living microorganisms that can control harmful microbes and restore the balance, alongside preventing episodes of imbalances from occurring.
