Consumer watchdog finds more than half of tested probiotic were not correctly labeled
Share
The Consumer Council recently released a report on probiotics and discovered that over 60% of the tested probiotic products on the market failed to disclose probiotics strains according to the guidelines, including heavily marketed and reputable brands listed as dangerous and not recommended for consumption. We are grateful to know that our Newdirran series are once again tested and recognized by the public and the authority. The product's patented formula has been proven safe and effective by multiple large-scale studies.
The Consumer Council points out that different probiotic strains can bring different health benefits. Consumers should consult doctors and pharmacists to select suitable probiotics based on their conditions and needs. If you choose to select on your own, you should first read the composition of the product to select products with complete details, alongside probiotics strains that are more internationally recognized.
